The successful first ever organ retrieval surgery at Umrao Hospitals.
Umrao hospitals Mira road has once again proved its existence as a keystone of Health care sector in North Mumbai by doing a successful Organ retrieval surgery on a 39 year old brain dead patient. The internationally qualified team of doctors with skilled nursing staff could successfully retrieve her kidneys, liver and cornea.

4 year old child, Onkar’s (name changed) suffered from minor viral illness of cough, cold & fever. The illness got complicated and child started labored breathing after 1 day. He was taken to a nearby nursing home, and treated for pneumonia. Nothing worked and his condition kept deteriorating.

15 year young boy Azim had a cardiac arrest and kidney failure, later got into coma due to high diabetes. Azim had fever for 5 days followed by fast breathing was taken to the clinic where his diabetes level rose to >500 for which he was started on insulin drip. The child went into sudden cardiac arrest for which he was revived and shifted to Umrao Hospital, Mira Road.
